Today we got to visit the Huruma Centre. For almost 30 years they have been caring for children in the Iringa area. They care for orphans and children who cannot be with their families due to other hardships.
Currently 53 children live there. The Centre is currently building a library and a primary school to expand their impact.
We got the privilege to play with the children for a while.
They loved being picked up to hang from this bar. We heard chorus of “na mimi” which is “and me!”
Connor played soccer with a few of the boys.
