Yesterday, Wednesday, we spent some time at the Iringa Diocese office learning about the different programs that have started off of the Bega Kwa Bega partnership.
Dignity for Daughters - provides personal care information and kits of menstrual care products
Huruma Centre - cares for children: orphans and those in difficult family situations- similar to a foster situation
Scholarships & teacher training
Million tree project - has already planted over 1 million trees and continues to provide seedlings for pine and fruit trees
Evangelists - training Evangelists to help spread the word of God
In the afternoon we visited Iringa University that was started by the diocese
